Professional Development Workshops
For Mayco, Professional Development refers to a continuous process of improvement in teaching skills. We think it intellectually engages you and helps you address the complexity and constant evolution of teaching art. And it will, if we do our job well, manifest itself through a measurable expansion in student achievement.
Mayco’s Professional Development workshops allow you to stretch your creative muscles while expanding your talents and product knowledge. You will not only learn about the versatility of Mayco products but also learn to think outside the box with innovative ideas to pass to your students! We will develop Professional Development/In-Service events to extend your continuing education in half day In-Services or a full day Professional Development event with CEU certificates available.
The requirements we have to secure a Professional Development Workshop are as follows: A minimum of 15 confirmed Art Educators with a current Ceramic/ Clay Program in their district (should fewer teachers attend, a small supply fee will be applied to your event). We ask for a minimum of 3 hours to put together a well-structured agenda.
