Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Mix each color of Stroke and Coat™ with 1/2 teaspoon of liquid dish soap. Mix well.
- With the soap mixed SC-77 Glo-Worm, pour 2-3 quarter-sized amounts onto the Gelli Printing Plate. Using the Brayer Roller, evenly roll out a thin layer of glaze, covering the entire plate.
- On top of the Gelli Printing Plate, lay the 8" x 10" piece of bubble wrap. Gently press bubble wrap into layer of glaze. Lift and remove bubble wrap.
- Place the Gelli Printing Plate, glaze side down, on top of MB-1353 Clay Canvas bisque. Firmly press printing plate to transfer glaze to bisque. Remove Gelli Printing Plate.
- With the soap mixed SC-28 Blue Isle, pour 2-3 quarter-sized amounts onto the Gelli Printing Plate. Using the Brayer Roller, evenly roll out a thin layer of glaze, covering the entire plate.
- Note: The Gelli Printing Plate or Brayer does not need to be cleaned between layers.
- Using AR09 Xiem Textured Art Roller NamiWaves, roll through SC-28 blue Isle on top of Gelli Printing Plate.
- Place the Gelli Printing Plate, glaze side down, on top of MB-1353 Clay Canvas bisque. Firmly press printing plate to transfer glaze to bisque. Remove Gelli Printing Plate.
- With the soap mixed SC-13 Grapel, pour 2-3 quarter-sized amounts onto the Gelli Printing Plate. Using the Brayer Roller, evenly roll out a thin layer of glaze, covering the entire plate.
- Starting at the top of the Gelli Printing Plate, gradually guide the DR01 Xiem Texture Rib to make "S" strokes.
- Tip: Use various sides of the DR01 Xiem Texture Rib to create different designs in the glaze.
- Place the Gelli Printing Plate, glaze side down, on top of the MB-1353 Clay Canvas bisque. Firmly press printing plate to transfer glaze to bisque. Remove Gelli Printing Plate.
- With the soap mixed SC-15 Tuxedo, pour 2-3 quarter-sized amounts onto the Gelli Printing Plate. Using the Brayer Roller, evenly roll out a thin layer of glaze, covering the entire plate.
- With the Gelli Printing Plate on the table, press the sides of the bisque onto the SC-15 Tuxedo covered printing plate. Roll out more SC-15 Tuxedo if needed.
- Using water and a small amount of dish soap, wash the Gelli Printing Plate.
- Place the flower pattern underneath the Gelli Printing Plate to use as a guide.
- On the Gelli Printing Plate, gently squeeze SG-403 Red, SG-408 Orange, and SG-405 Green, without the applicator tip, where colors are indicated.
- Place the Gelli Printing Plate, glaze side down, on top of the MB-1353 Clay Canvas bisque. Firmly press printing plate to transfer glaze to bisque.
- Using SG-201 Black, with applicator tip, outline petals and center area of flower to accentuate. Allow to dry.
- Using CB-604 Soft Fan, apply S-2101 Crystal Clear to top and sides of bisque.
- Fire to cone 06/05.
