Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply two coats of FN-001 White to the front of the MB-1352 Clay Canvas bisque. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats. Allow to dry.
- Using the AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace the pattern onto the bisque with a pencil.
- Using the Water-based markers, outline the traced image and lightly shade areas to be filled in.
- With a palette knife, mix SC-74 Hot Tamale with AC-310 Silkscreen Medium to the consistency of peanut butter.
- To screen onto the bisque, rub the thickened SC-74 Hot Tamale over the screen, grain side up. If the image is screened on areas you do not want, wipe with a damp sponge.
- Tip: Refer to the Silkscreen Instructions for additional information.
- Clean the screen by rinsing or laying in water. Lay screen flat to dry. Do not let glaze dry on screen.
- Using CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply two coats of SC-24 Dandelion to the hair. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats.
- Using CB-106 #6 Script Liner and CB-110 #10/0 Detail Liner, apply two coats of SC-15 Tuxedo to all of the remaining outlined areas as well as the facial details. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats.
- Using CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply two coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder to the head band. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply two coats of SC-15 Tuxedo to the edges of the bisque. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
