Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the design. With ¼" masking tape, apply tape to the wire.
- Condition a CB-110 #10/0 Liner and a CB-106 #6 Script Liner by: dampening the brush in water and squeeze out any excess water. Load the brush with AC-525 Brush Cleaner then squeeze between a paper towel.
- Apply a good coat of AC-302 Wax Resist only to the design. Allow to dry. Clean brush when done applying the AC-302 Wax Resist.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 even coats of CC-107 Green Tea to the lower area of the canvas and 3 coats of CC-108 China Sea to the upper area of the canvas. Allow to dry.
- Clean off any glaze droplets of glaze on the Wax Resist areas.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 005/06.
- To antique the cracks in the glaze, apply SS-138 to the canvas an area at a time then wipe off with a paper towel. The SS-138 Flat Black should also go on the design.
- Do Not Fire!
