Instructions

 

 

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the pumpkins, bats and spider webs where desired.
  3. Using aCB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 thinned coat of SC-77 Glo Worm to the background areas.
  4. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 1 heavy coat of SC-24 Dandelion to the eyes, mouths and noses on the pumpkins.
  5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-75 Orange-A-Peel to the pumpkins.
  6. Side-load a CB-106 #6 Script Liner with SC-88 Tu Tu Tango and shade the edges of the pumpkins.
  7. Using SG-401 Designer Liner, outline and detail the pumpkins, fill in the stems and bats, then add the spider webs. Allow to dry.
  8. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-207 Orange Slice to the top of the plate, and 2 coats of FN-009 Black to the back. Allow to dry.
  9. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 05/06.
