Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Cut out the shape of the fox pattern.
  3. Position the pattern on the tile. With a pencil, trace the fox shape on to the tile.
  4. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2-3 coats of SC-88 Tu Tu Tango to the fox.
  5. Wet the fox area with water then stick the paper cut out paper fox to the painted fox on the tile, to act as a mask. Blot with a paper towel to absorb any excess water.
  6. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-031 Cornflower Blue to the tile.
  7. Brush SC-16 Cotton Tail into the wet FN-031 Cornflower Blue on the last coat of the blue around the paper fox, remove the paper cut out fox pattern.
  8. Pencil in the tree with limbs.
  9. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner and CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 2 two coats of SC-34 Down to Earth to the tree and limbs.
  10. Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick, pat the leaf stamp with SC-26 Green Thumb only individual leaves, then press to the tile over the limbs. Allow to dry.
  11. Outline and detail the fox, tree and limbs with SG-401 Black Designer Liner.
  12. Pat the leaf stamp with some SG-401 Black Designer Liner then stamp over the Green thumb leaves, not necessary to get it on perfect. Allow to dry.
  13. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 coat of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to design area.  Allow to dry.
  14. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
