Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2-3 Coats of FN-009 Black to the plate.
  3. Spray the back of the stencil with stencil adhesive, follow directions on the can.  You may need more than one coat.
  4. Plate needs to be dry so the adhesive will work. Set the stencil on the plate, press down the edges.
  5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SG-202 White Cobblestone to the tree stencil area. Wait for the first coat to lose its shine before applying the next coat.
  6. When the last coat looses its shine, apply 1 coat of SC-88 Tu Tu Tango over the SG-202 White Cobblestone, with a CB-106 #6 Script Liner.
  7. Remove the stencil by pulling it straight up.  If any of the SG-202 White Cobblestone has leaked underneath the stencil, brush over with a couple of coats of FN-009 Black.
  8. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
