Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Start in the center of the lid, between the holes, apply the the 3/4" tape to tape the entire lid. Place the tape neatly against each other.
- Remove every other piece of tape, leaving the center tape. Taping in this manner gives you even lines without measuring.
- Use the CB-602 #2 Soft Fan to apply 1 even coat of SC-76 Cara-bein Blue to the spaces between the tape.
- Remove the tape.
- Start in the center of the lid, between the holes, in the opposite direction of the stripes, apply the 3/4" inch tape to the entire lid.
- Remove every other piece of tape.
- Use the #2 Soft Fan to apply 1one even coat of SC-76 Cara-bein Blue to the bisque areas.
- Remove the tape.
- Use the CB-604 #4 Soft Fan to apply 3 coats of SC-76 Cara bein Blue to the inside of the box base. Apply 3 coats of SC-35 Gray Hare to the outside.
- Punch out 11 - 1" circles You will be using the negative space of the punch. Wet with water, place over the Gray Hare in a row. Use the CB-106 #6 Script Liner to brush over the punched circle with two coats of SC-76 Cara-bein Blue.
- Remove the paper template.
- Brush the area around the button holes with SC-74 Hot Tamale.
- Dip into NC-CLR or use the #4 Soft Fan to apply 2 coats of S-2101 Clear Brushing Glaze to lid and base.
- Fire to Cone 05/06.
- Use colored craft wire to thread into the button holes, it will create a handle.
