Instructions

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Remove the bank stopper.
  3. Using a Cb-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of CG-964 Kaleidoscope to the body of the bird.  Try to keep the crystals applied evenly.
  4. Using aCB-602 #2Soft Fan, apply on 3 coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder to the wings.
  5. Using a CB-110 #10/o Liner, outline the feathers with SC-76 Cara bein Blue.
  6. Thin SC-76 Cara bein Blue slightly, using a CB-602 #2 Soft Fan, apply over the hair, wipe off excess with a damp sponge.
  7. Using a CB-602 #2 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder to the hair.
  8. Using aCB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2-3 coats of SC-6 Sunkissed to the larger part of the eyes. The iris is 2 coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder.  Beak is SC-75 Orange-A-Peel.
  9. Thin the Kaleidoscope then brush the crystals over the wings, hair and eyes.
  10. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply SC-15 Tuxedo for the pupil and to outline the eye. Allow to dry.
  11. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
  12. Replace the bank stopper.
