Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 thinned coats of SC-35 Gray Hare with some SC-16 Cotton Tail to lighten to the top side of the plate avoiding the eyes.
- With a pencil, sketch in the nose and teeth.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the teeth.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-17 Cheeky Pinky to the nose.
- Float thinned SC-11 Blue Yonder around the face also add some stripes.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, stroke in stripes, shadows around eyes, around mouth and below the nose with 2 thinned coats of SC-35 Gray Hare with some SC-15 Tuxedo to darken.
- Using a CB-202 #2 Detail Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder to the eye area. Float thinned SC-29 Blue Grass to the iris of the eye. Apply 1–2 coats of SC-15 Tuxedo to the pupil of the eye. Add a highlight of SC-16 Cotton Tail.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, outline the eye, nose, teeth/mouth and whiskers with SC-15 Tuxedo.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 - 3 coats of FN-009 Black to the back of the plate and inside the mug. Allow to dry.
- Optional: Can be dipped in clear glaze. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
