Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-001 White to the entire piece. Allow to dry.
- With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the pattern.
- Using a CB-408 #8 Pointed Round or a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-6 Sunkissed with some SC-51 Poo Bear for shadows to some of the flower petals. The darker petals are SC-51 Poo Bear. Shade the flower center with a wash of SC-75 Orange-A-Peel.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-79 It's Sage to the green leaves and add some SC-39 Army Surplus to shade lightly and add some shadow leaves. The orange leaves are 2 coats of SC-80 Basketball with some SC-75 Orange-A-Peel shadows.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner and a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, outline and detail the design with SC-15 Tuxedo, keeping the outline very thin.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, spatter FN-001 White to the yellow flower only.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
