ericEric Cacioppo teaches art at several elementary schools in Westerville, Ohio.He also is very passionate about using art to connect, strengthen and enhance the communities in which he teaches.

Eric was involved in obtaining grants and installing clay murals at three of the elementary schools in which he teaches.

 When the City of Westerville asked him to design and implement a large clay mural at a community park and pool facility Eric jumped right in.  This massive project took well over two years to complete - from the initial drawing for the mural through the installation.  Community involvement included students, their families and community members - ages 4 to 74; beyond creating a beautiful mural his efforts created a great sense of community pride through art.

The mural features several Mayco Stoneware glazes; Mayco and local distributor Columbus Clay provided most of the supplies.
