Foundations is a staple glaze, one you can count on for any grade level usage, any project. You can count on it to be the same every time you purchase a new jar. And like the foundation of a sturdy building, you can confidently build your ceramics program upon it.
- Save Time: fast drying formulas allow you to turn projects around more quickly. If you use a majolica technique, you can do more stages of a project in s single class period.
- Save Money: no clear glazing necessary for a brilliant gloss finish. Foundations formulas contains more solids, less water - fewer coats are needed to get solid, opaque coverage.
- Save Anxiety: no worries about colors fading if the kiln fires a little hot. Many keep their color from cone 06 to cone 6. Even if you don’t fire up to cone 6 it’s nice to know that Foundations can take a little extra heat and their colors will remain true.
