Designer Silkscreens are the perfect Creative Tool to give your students the opportunity to incorporate high-level detail into their art. With both classic and trendy designs, students of all ages will love adding silkscreens to any project. Designer Silkscreens can be used with glazes, acrylics, and fabric paint, making them both a practical and fun addition to any classroom!
All our silkscreens are reusable, work well on both curved and rigid surfaces, and are made to have long lives in all classrooms. Not only are they kid-friendly and reliable, but our silkscreens can also be used for simply the designs themselves or as outlines to provide students an easy, clean way of adding glaze to any artwork.
As examples, we have marvelous handbuilt projects our artists used with silkscreens. On the unicorn, Designer Silkscreen DSS-0416 Princess and Unicorns was used to add a little extra magic and style. These fun designs really take the piece to the next level!
The handbuilt cactus birdhouse showcases our ST-133 Wood Grain stamp, which was used over and over again to make the beautiful texture you see. Mayco Designer Stamps can be used to apply glaze or stamped into clay for texture. They serve as outlines for glazes, or simply as designs themselves!
