Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White to the top of the plate. Allow to dry.
- Using a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the flower and leaves where desired.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 to 3 coats of SC-6 Sunkissed to the outer flower petals.
- Using a CB-106 # 6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-24 Dandelion to the 2nd row of flower petals.
- Using the CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-94 Curry Around to the flower center.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-27 Sour Apple to the leaves.
- Cut out the flower and leaves, and wet the area and press the paper cut outs firmly into place.
- Wet an area, and place down a few torn newspaper pieces.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 coat of SC-SC-70 Pink-A-Dot over the top of the plate.
- Place a few more torn newspaper squares, then paint over the entire top again with SC-70 Pink-A-Dot.
- Place a few more torn newspaper squares and paint over the entire top with SC-95 Pinkie Swear.
- Remove all the newspaper and flower/leaf paper pieces before the color dries to avoid chipping. Allow to dry.
- Using a CB-110 #10 Liner, outline add stems, scrolls and detail the leaves with SC-15 Tuxedo.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-047 Light Pink to the back and edges of the plate. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
