Mayco Recognition at CCSA 2014

The Mayco Team received three recognition awards during the annual convention of the Contemporary Ceramic Studios Association (CCSA) in September 2014. The association is comprised of Paint Your Own Pottery (PYOP) studio owners, suppliers, teachers, and consultants.
The awards received were:
- Best New Technique - Silkscreening
- Best New Product - Mayco Designer Silkscreens
- Most Fun Booth
Silkscreening was introduced by the Mayco team during Pottery Camp, their premier educational program, in spring 2014. Based on studio feedback the product line, Designer Silkscreens, were introduced in April 2014. In the short time since, studio owners and their customers have rapidly embraced silk screening and have begun silk screening on glass, canvas and other media.
Mayco's exhibit booth featured vivid color, unique application techniques and a huge selection of projects as inspiration for convention attendees. Visitors had the opportunity to complete two make & take projects (see below), which were well received!

Awards were voted on by the association membership and were announced during the annual membership meeting which took place in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mayco is a founding member of CCSA and has continually supported the group by serving on the Board of Directors, teaching classes during their annual convention, technical guidance and consistently providing new products and techniques which Paint Your Own Pottery studios owners use on a daily basis in their businesses.
