Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- With ½” Masking Tape, tape the top area on the flower pot where the ribbing stops on the pot.
- Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick, pounce on 2 solid coats of SG-302 Snowfall to the area below the tape, excluding the bottom.
- Cut out the flower and leaf shapes, and attach to the pot with water, pressing down with a paper towel to make sure no color goes beneath the patterns.
- Using aCB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply a thinned to a wash coat of SC-94 Curry Around to the top half of the pot, then a thinned coat of SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral to the lower half, allowing the colors to blend in the middle where they meet.
- Remove the paper and masking tape.
- For 2 of the cup shaped flowers, leave unpainted. For the other 2 flowers, load a CB-106 #6 Script Liner with SC-94 Curry Around and apply to the cupped area.
- Using a pencil, lightly sketch in the oval shaped flowers.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply to the upper half 2 coats of SC-94 Curry Around, and 2 coats of SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral to the lower half.
- Using aCB-106 #6 Script Liner, add the stem to the oval flower with SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral.
- Using a pencil, sketch in smaller circles for the daisy like flowers.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral.
- If needed, add long filler leaves with the CB-106 #6 Script Liner loaded in SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral 2 times.
- Using a brush handle, add dots to the white leaves with SC-94 Curry Around.
- Thin the SG-401 Designer Liner to ink constancy, and using the CB-110 #10/0 Liner, outline and detail the leaves and flowers. Also add small circles to the inside area of the oval flowers.
- Using a brush handle, apply dots of SG-302 Snowfall to the centers of the dots in the oval flowers, then using the CB-110 #10/0 Liner, pull in small lines like a starburst over the SG-401 Designer Liner circles.
- Using a CB-110 # 10/0 Liner, add SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral to the inside areas on the square openings on the cup shaped flowers.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-009 Black to the bottom, rim and inside of the flower pot.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 05/06.
