Recap: 2015 Fusion Conference

Recently, Staff Artist, Nathan Klein, represented Mayco Colors at the 2015 Fusion Conference in Hamilton, Ontario. This year the spotlight presenters were artists Sunshine Cobb and Robin Dupont.
Sunshine's work focused on hand built and wheel thrown utilitarian vessels at cone 6. In conjunction, Robin focused on cone 10, wood fired ceramics in which he created forms to allow the kiln and flame to decorate. This two-day workshop hosted over 100 Canadian ceramic artists from every skill level. Before the conference began, Nathan held a Silkscreen Workshop which focused on various surface decoration techniques using multiple selections of Mayco Designer Silkscreens. Next year's conference is to be held in Toronto and from the sound of it, it won't be one to miss!
