Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-047 Light Pink to the entire piece. Allow to dry.
- Using a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the flower towards the center of the piece.
- Using the Watercolor Marker, create a border around the flower about 1 to 2” wide from the outside edge.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of SC-6 Sunkissed to the top, outside edge then blend with SC-75 Orange-A-Peel and continue to the bottom edge.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats to the flower petals.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-78 Lime Light to the flower center.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, add some accent strokes into each petal with SC-78 Lime Light.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner loosely outline the flower design and the banded areas with SC-15 Tuxedo.
- Thin the SC-15 Tuxedo with water, and using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, spatter the piece. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
