Instructions

While casts are still damp, cut out as desired, allow to dry somewhat and carefully clean the cut out area with a damp sponge or brush. Allow to dry, clean the seams and fire to cone 04.

Apply one coat of colors to areas as follows: Orange areas with SS-210 Orange, White areas with SS-45 Buttermilk, and Yellow areas with SS-3 Honey Toast. Bows and bowties with, SS-29 Fuchsia and SS-317 Turquoise.

Apply a wash with a 1:3 mix of Med. Mocha and water, paint on a section at a time and wipe off with a soft cloth.

Dry brush the areas with colors as follows:

Orange areas with 2 coats of SS-210 Orange, followed with 3 to 4 coats of SS-111 Brightest Yellow, follow with SS-135 White to highlight.

White areas with 2 coats of SS-45 Buttermilk, followed with 2 to 3 coats of SS-135 White. Blush cheeks and noses with blush color of choice.

Yellow areas with 2 coats of SS-3 Honey Toast, followed with 2 coats of SS-111 Brightest Yellow, continue by adding a little SS-210 Orange to your brush and dry brush 2 light coats . Highlight with SS-135 White.

Bows and bowties with original color and SS-135 White.

If desired, shade the candy corn with SS-24 Chocolate Fudge.

Paint stitches on candy corn with Black. Add white and/or the color of the bow or bow tie to match, and paint lines on stitches as shown. Decorate bows and bowties as desired.

Using SS-138 Flat Black, paint eyes with a toothpick and paint “MOM” and “DAD” to the large candy corn.

Using clear Vellum, cut to size and line the inside of pieces with cut outs.

Light up using battery powered color changing lights.
