Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Thin SC-11 Blue Yonder (1 part water to 3 parts glaze). Using a cotton ball, add the sky to your frame by swirling the cotton ball onto the upper rim of the plate. Leave the bottom plate/rim white.
- Using a sea sponge, apply the equivelant of 3 coats of SP-254 Speckled Vanilla Dip to the bottom rim.
- Using a No. 2 pencil, draw a curved line (¼ of a circle) in the upper left corner of the plate to create a sun.
- Using a RB-118 #8 Round, apply 3 coats of SC-75 Orange-A-Peel within the arc you created.
- Using a RB-104 #4 Liner, make rays of sun by painting lines that eminate away from the circle.
- Paint or sponge SC-15 Tuxedo onto the rubber stamp of your choice. Press the stamp on the upper rim of your plate to give your photo a title. The sample says, "Family Vacation."
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-001 White, to the inner square of the plate.
- Using a RB-100 #0 Liner, outline your sun, the rays and the horizon line of your sea scape using SC-15 Tuxedo. Add seagulls by making "v"s in the upper right corner.
